An Edwardian period property with large amounts of structural issues.

Project

At the centre of this restoration project was a very sad and tired looking Edwardian period property that was showing structural issues to the large front gable. In order to restore both structural integrity and beauty, we performed the following works:

• Full brick clean.
• Strapping and strengthening works to the defective gable end area as per our structural engineers report.
• Multiple helibar fracture repairs.
• Multiple brick repairs – including high-level moudled/sculptured cornice brick bands.
• Full rake out and repoint with a neat flush joint using natural lime putty mortar.
