Claude Road E10
This period property had been covered in multiple layers of paint – underneath hid various structural problems.
Project
Our scope of work was as follows:
- Full pebbledash removal works
- Reforming and repairing all of the damaged bricks
- Removal of the porchway door and frame.
- Stone repairs to the doorway where it had been previously cut back to allow fitting of the porchway food and frame.
- Helibar ties to the unstable front bay piers.
- Full repoint in lime mortar with a neat flush.
- Tuck pointing to the doorway head – both left-hand and right-hand side piers.
- Removal of the existing air vents to the plinth, recentering and replacing with new period-effect cast iron vents.
